India Trip

Guidelines

  • Ensure you have an up to date passport that is valid for min three months after the return date.
  • When you are sure you would like to join on the trip, mail the signed agreement form and required, non-refundable, deposit (check or money order) to Kerry Lawson, RR#2 Box 267A, Tusket, NS, B0W 3M0.
  • Indian Visa applications (apply for 6 month tourist) and money order payment must be sent via express mail or courier. Click on http://in.vfsglobal.ca/ for your Visa information and forms. Be sure to send a money order and not a personal check or it will all be returned to you.
Recommended shots:
  • be updated on your tetnus/diptheria
  • take the twin rx A&B
  • typhoid

It is also recommended to take anti malaria pills while there. Malerone is the best (Laruim has wicked side effects, I see it every year)

You might want to bring your own comfort medicines that you like to have (pepto bismal, anti diarreah, advil or tylenol, or natural rememdies for belly issues. Some people never have a problem, some do for a few days. There are treatments in India but if you feel more comfortable with what you are familiar with, then bring along. Personally, I try to pack as light as possible so use the products in India if need be.
